Agree x 3. El Fonz0 Active Member. I kinda like having the one Forsworn camp being nice to you, and not all of them, because then what would happen to all those Bounty quests or something?
You'd just waltz in, stab the Briarheart in his A little questchain, or even an extra sidequest would have been nice, like the reward is Conjure Briarheart or Conjure Hagraven or something.
Psiberzerker Author. You can return to Druadach Redoubt, they will be non-hostile. The rest never get the memo. I like the idea of a forsworn major side quest DLC maybe delve deeper into the lore of Bretons being man-mer, and perhaps something happens where the thalmor try to bargain with the forsworn, and for their cooperation they can have the reach SprSynJn Member.
The Twitchy Cat Batman is shocked at your comment. Even if we could, I still wouldn't do it. I hate them too much. One was the savage leader of what is essentially a cult terrorist movement that justified its horrors by playing victim, the other was a greedy pompous snake that sweeps the murder of his own people under the rug just so he can continue to make a living.
They both had their own families to look out for, but they chose the worst ways to go about it. Do the Reach a favor and get rid of them both. I ended up killing Madanach during the quest. Not only does it rid Markarth of the bigotry and vitriol of the Forsworn who literally worship bird monsters who eat and slaughter humans , but it also removes Thonar's private army, thus making it far harder for him to control Markarth.
The Forsworn might be fighting for 'independence', but they're fighting for it on the wrong terms. I can't support them, because, ultimately, I don't care if 'they were there first'. They have no morals and don't stick to any sort of code, killing whoever isn't part of their little cult. While my actions may be a minor victory for Thonar, the Empire will finish carrying out their mission and put an end to Thonar's corruption, so he'll still end up being taken out.
I think that taking out Madanach is honestly the lesser of two evils, as he doesn't advocate any sort of unified or peaceful society, whereas Thonar at least maintains some modicum of humanity. What I think we can all agree on is that this is an awesome grey area in Skyrim that really helps to strike back against the people who say that Skyrim has no depth and is only for stupid babies.
I also think we can agree that not being able to properly join the Forsworn was a massive oversight. At the end of the day, do whatever you want. Each side can be justified, and it really isn't my place to decide for you. By the way, can we all agree that Lord Hadron really needs to stop screaming 'racist' at everyone and get his points straight? Because he really annoys me. If you sided with the Forsworn, you side with Palestine in real life.
Uraccen: "What's going on, Madanach? You wouldn't have old Grisvar killed unless you weren't planning on needing him. It's time to leave Cidhna Mine and continue our fight against the Nords. Through this gate, just beside my quarters, is a tunnel. A tunnel that leads right through the old Dwarven ruins of Markarth, into the city.
Well, what do you say, my brothers? Kaie: "Madanach. I've brought what you asked for. Get ready while I have a word with our favorite outsider. You better get ready before we break out into the city. And take this. It's blessed with the old magicks. Something to remember me by. Time to finally see the sky, and make it rain red. Elder Scrolls Explore. Elder Scrolls Online. Do you like this video? Play Sound. The Forsworn. Criminals in our own lands. And we will cut a bloody hole into the Reach until we are free. Come for me, then. Come and let's end this! But even if you were to escape Cidhna Mine, your name would still be stained with all that blood. And what about you? What right did you have to meddle in my affairs? Kill my people? Was it worth it? Your truth? You're one of us now, you see? A slave. The boot of the Nord Or "your kinsmen" if the Dragonborn is a Nord.
Maybe if you understood that, I could help you.
